My Story
If you cherish items with a story, you've come to the right place. Every bag is one of a kind -- patterned, procured, sewed, and shipped by me - Lynn (Or as many now call me, LynnieLou!)
I have had a needle and thread in my hands for as long as I can remember. I will never forget sewing my whole wardrobe with my mother on a Singer sewing machine in 1970 -- the garments fit perfectly, in all my favorite colors -- it's safe to say, I was hooked.
As life got busy, I had less time to sew, but still managed to occasionally create clothing for myself and my children and add spunk to our home via window treatments and pillows. It was also a great gifting vehicle and nearly everyone close to me has something I have made in their home.
I am now retired and finally, I once again get to sew for fun. Cork bags are now my singular focus. I was astonished at how often family, friends, and strangers asked to purchase one of "my designs."
And so began LynnieLou Bags. My bags are all named for special girls in my life...family, friends, and even pets.
I am blessed with customers who become friends. I love "my bag ladies" who inspire me daily to continue creating great products for clients old and new.
